Most diners visit steakhouses for, well, steak. But typically, such establishments also offer rich desserts sliced as thick as their rib eyes. Del Frisco’s Grille in Uptown is no exception. Problem is, after tucking into all that meat and potatoes, who has room for dessert?

Some desserts are spectacular enough to merit a steakless trip to the steakhouse. Case in point: Nutella bread pudding. The crisp exterior yields to a moist, cake-like, dark chocolate core with a hint of hazelnut. Crowned with a scoop of coffee ice cream and a dollop of house-made whipped cream, it’s a shining example of coffee + chocolate harmony. Pair it with an adult milkshake if you really want to go nuts.

At this trendier offshoot of Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse, the patio is where you want to be. Dotted with paprika umbrellas and loungey seating, it’s a haven for the see-and-be-seen crowd.
