Rather than show up to your family's Easter Sunday shindig with the same old hot cross buns, why not bring a slice of ginger-glazed carrot cake, grapefruit hazelnut tarts, savory curry rolls or chocolate maple biscotti? These and other edible goodies will be available for purchase at the fifth iteration of The Bake Sale Pop Up Bakery, held at Local Press + Brew. A collaborative effort between Lily Hanson and Skye McDaniel, The Bake Sale will feature a host of scratch-made goodies as well as the wares of other participating vendors, including floral arrangements, wire sculpture by artist Max Rasor and jewelry, jam and soap.

This Saturday, they're hosting a grown folks-only hunt in the T.A.P. room and beer garden. After the hunt, sit back and revel in their haul with some firkin fresh from the tap. The Flying Saucer's Garland location will feature limited tappings of Real Ale Mysterium, Verum Benedictum 2014, Funkwerks Raspberry Provincial and Firestone Walker Helldorado, as well as bottles of Prairie Bible Belt. Those who have Risen early can partake in the Beerknurd breakfast buffet from noon to 3 p.m.
