Leading up to September's Best of Dallas® 2016 issue, we're sharing (in no particular order) our 100 Favorite Dishes, the Dallas entrées, appetizers and desserts that really stuck with us this year.

Over-the-top milkshakes were a thing in 2016, but "crazy" doesn't always equal "greatness." Grub Burger Bar's kitchen sink milkshake, however, is insanity that works. As the name implies, it's loaded with goodies: coffee grounds, pretzels, peanut butter, butterscotch and caramel sauce, chocolate chips, and potato chips. If you want to really go nuts, order the dirty version and they'll spike it with vodka.

The result is a boozy, Butterfinger-y treat that you will crave year-round. At $7, it's a good call when you want to go just a little bit crazy.
