Primitive camping is all well and good, but it can present a few problems, especially during the dog days of summer. First of all, you have no protection from pesky flies when you're just walking around in the open air. And, as you probably already know, telling flies to leave doesn't usually work. Second, it's hot outside, and you have no respite whatsoever from the heat. And, most importantly, you have no accoutrements, and as any good RV owner knows, that spells vacation disaster. So, primitive campers, do me a favor, will you please? Will you do me a kindness? Stop by the Southwest RV Supershow this weekend at Dallas Market Hall, 2200 Stemmons Freeway, and check out the hundreds of options the recreational vehicle world has to offer. They'll be displaying everything from pop-ups to deluxe motor coaches, with plenty of amenities to go around, and tickets are only $10 for adults (and free for kids under 16). Hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. For more information, visit thesouthwestrvsupershow.com.
