Looking at the smallish paintings of Sarah Williams from a distance, they look so much like photographs it's hard to believe they're paintings. Upon closer inspection, however, they reveal themselves to be finely tuned creations of everyday places turned into ethereal locales thanks to careful strokes and mysterious sources of light. Reinvention of the nighttime norm, if you will. But Night Vision isn't the only thing Marty Walker Gallery is celebrating. Walker's exhibition marks the reopening of the gallery after a full remodel.
