If He Builds It

"He can fix it! He can fix it," they'll chant. Two-year-olds in mosh pits, bottles thrown onstage and signatures on teething rings. After all, he is an international superstar. OK, so it probably won't be that wild, but kids do love Bob the Builder. Fixing things in the United States since 2001, most of Bob's fans have known him their entire lives. Presented by HIT Entertainment, Bob the Builder LIVE!: Spud's Big Mess will make a stop at Dallas' Majestic Theatre this week. Kids will have their first opportunity in 5 years to enjoy Bob the Builder offscreen and on the stage. The 90-minute show consists of 10 original songs and Bob's quest to build a recycling center and wind farm in Sunflower Valley. The production will entertain most (those under 3 feet tall, that is) and promote eco-friendly messages beneficial for the whole family. Bob the Builder and his business partner, Wendy, will show audiences how important it is to reduce, reuse and recycle. The show will run at 1, 4 and 7 p.m. Saturday and 2 and 4 p.m. Sundays. Tickets are $22 to $37. Call 214-631-2787 for tickets.
