You may think that you've seen all the good musicals ever created, but if you've never seen Thoroughly Modern Millie then you've got another think coming. The Repertory Theater Company is putting on a production of the Broadway show and it's chock full of musical flapper fun. Adapted from the 1967 film musical starring Julie Andrews and Mary Tyler Moore, it's set in the Roaring '20s and comes complete with women's emancipation, hooch, bobbed hair, tap dancing, white slavery, some catchy songs (including "Everything Today Is Thoroughly Modern"--just try and get it out of your head) and the fulfillment of every ambitious working girl's dreams, the chance to marry her boss. The show is playing at the Promenade Theatre, located at 650 N. Coit Road in Richardson. Showtimes are 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $14 for youth, and $25 for adults.
