Flying High

THIS SHOW HAS BEEN POSTPONED UNTIL JUNE 14, 2008.. Yes, Asian acrobats are short. They're wee and limber, and that allows them to perform acrobatics better than even the best French Canadian. That, and the fact that they begin their artistic pursuit while other kids are still potty training. With more than 27 centuries of tradition, Chinese acrobats are a force to be reckoned with, and if you've never had a chance to witness China's Golden Dragon Acrobats, the world's premier touring acrobatic troupe, then you should head to the Eisemann Center in Richardson (2351 Performance Drive) this weekend as they present Cirque D'Or. Watch as they spin, leap, balance and fly through the sky in a show that's perfect for the whole family. The stunning performances take place at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday. Tickets are $15 to $45, with a 50 percent discount for children 12 and younger. Call 972-744-4650 or visit
