He dried his tears and went on to inspire countless musicians, shaping swing and western swing music in the process--which is why Arts Fifth Avenue honors Reinhardt with an annual festival. This year's events include documentary films and performances by String Theory, Yo! Gadjo and Gypsy Moon.
