I've never really sat through a stand-up comedian and thought to myself, "Man, this routine would be so much funnier if the jokes were set to some Indigo Girls-style acoustic balladry." I would hope for the sake of humankind that most people haven't. Comedian Kristin Key, on the other hand, must think the Indigo Girls are the Queens of Comedy. According to her Web site, Key is known as "The Preacher's Kid Gone Wild," but her Indigo-esque "Passive Aggressive Love Song" is hardly the type of jam that will have you dancing in a barn and rolling in the hay with Kevin Bacon Footloose-style. Here's hoping she keeps the acoustic guitar in its case when she performs Friday and Saturday at Hyena's, 605 Houston St. in Fort Worth. Tickets are $10 to $15.
