Ditch the juice boxes, jump ropes and jawbreakers for a daytime playground brawl. The jagged claws are out and the petite pearl earrings are off. All systems are a go for a knockdown, drag-out fight in Dallas Theater Center’s presentation of the Tony award-winning comedy God of Carnage. It’s a dog-eat-dog world out there when two parental units bang each other up and call one another names over a simple prepubescent disagreement between their 11-year-old sons. Whoever said you were too old to act immature? This regional premiere of God of Carnage is directed by Joel Ferrell and stars Christie Vela, Chris Hury, Sally Nystuen-Vahle and Hassan El-Amin. Adult themes and language are included in this 90-minute production. The comedic fun continues through June 17 at the Kalita Humphreys Theater, 3636 Turtle Creek Blvd. Tickets are $15 to $45.
