Sigel's at 3209 N. Fitzugh Ave. is hosting TexasFest, a celebration of Texas craft beer, spirits and wine, which includes 14 Texas beers, 26 Texas spirits and eight wines. Brian Luscher of The Grape will provide sustenance with his new Post Oak Red Hots. You'll need to reserve a passport for the event, which will give you access to any 12 (no, you can't try them all) of the spirits, all of which will be on sale. The event is from 6 to 8 p.m. RSVP with Tommy Clark at [email protected] or 214-635-3162.
Jordan Weeks, founder of the South Austin Brewing Co., will be hanging out at Craft and Growler for a little nice-to-meet-ya event, with a limited number of souvenir glasses. C&G is the only place in town where you can find the Belgian Golden Ale, which would look really nice in your empty growler. Things get started at 6 p.m.
The Libertine will have an Ommegang Beer Dinner Wednesday. Dinner costs $50 per person and starts at 7 p.m. Reservations are required and highly suggested. Call 214-824-7900

Dean Fearing has invited two chefs from our neighbor state to the east to cook up a "contemporary Creole dinner" at his namesake spot Fearing's. John Folse and Rick Tramonto became friends after they worked together to feed survivors and rescuers of Hurricane Katrina. Now they share the love with everyone. Except this time dinner is $155 per person, $50 additional for the wine pairing. Call Kelsey Holmes at 214-922-4817. Hopefully chef Fearing will bring his guitar and pick some tunes.
Rahr and Sons Brewing Co. in Fort Worth will have a Movie Night at the brewery, where they'll watch Beerfest, a humorous fight club-esque movie for beer; $12 at the door gets you a Rahr pint glass, popcorn and pizza for your face, and, as always (and as law stipulates) free beer! The party is BYOLawn Chair. Down in front and don't get sloppy with that popcorn.

Chef DAT is hosting an underground five-course dinner that includes "the best pasta dish in Dallas," made with ingredients from Nonna, TJ's Seafood, Spiceman's, Scardello and Jimmy's Food Store. There's also a yellow curry crab stew, and dessert from Dude, Sweet Chocolate. Upon arriving, guests will receive a craft cocktail made with Treaty Oaks Rum of Austin (BYOB otherwise) and DJ EZ Eddie D of KNON fame will set the mood right on the 1's and 2's. Things get going at 7:30 and cost $85 per person. RSVP at [email protected].

You and your well-behaved pup can hang on the patio at The Gin Mill from 4 to 6 p.m. to partake in a little fundraising for the Greyhound Adoption League. It's $10 per person, which includes your first drink. Then after that, your pooch will buy you drinks because you work hard for them and they love you. But, since you have pockets, you'll have to actually bring the money. And bacon. Dogs always dream their people have bacon in their pockets.
Klyde Warren Park, the park we all want to be when we grow up, is celebrating spring with a bevy of family fun festivities from noon to 5 p.m. You know what this means, right? If the weather is nice, parking will be nonexistent within a mile of the park on Saturday. Chase down that trolley and don't even think about circling the park for a look-see. It'll take an hour.
