Welcome to Dallas, Super Bowl people! While you're in town, we hope you check out some of the best restaurants for tourists in Dallas. (Here's hoping you stick to this list so our actual favorite local spots don't get all crowded with giant foam fingers and face paint.)
Trail Dust!
Better not wear a tie! They'll cut it off, and you can't be mad because it's hilarious!
Hope you love your waitress, because she's the only local you'll have to brush elbows with in this joint. Get the steak! (Meanwhile, where we'll be: Hattie's, Bolsa--basically anywhere else.)
Taco Bueno!
Authentic. Street. Tacos. Anyone who knows anything about delicious, authentic tacos will tell you that the food at Taco Bueno is the best taqueria that Dallas has to offer. If you're from out of town, you should go there. And stay there. (Where we'll be: El Paisa, Good 2 Go Taco, Torchy's Tacos, Tacos Y Mas)
KFC!
Welcome to the South! If you're looking to get yourself some yummy fried chicken, KFC really is the best we've got.
Sure, it's a national chain, but it's a Dallas tradition. (Where we'll be: Henderson Chicken, Big Mama's Chicken 'N Waffles, Bubba's)
Sonny Bryan's!
Barbecue just doesn't get any better than Sonny Bryan's. Pick out the fat, don't eat it and be sure to drench everything in sauce. It's better that way. (Where we'll be: Pecan Lodge, Lockhart Smokehouse [opening today!], Mike Anderson's)
Whataburger!
It's a regional burger spot that Dallas loves. It's the best burger in Dallas for tourists, without question. (Where we'll be: Wingfield's, Angry Dog, Twisted Root, Adair's, Keller's)
