Speaking of which, Masami Teraoka's new exhibit at the McKinney Avenue Contemporary gives the Catholic Church a little bit of sex ed. He paints his daydreams into classic religious triptychs, imagining a world in which the victim becomes the victor. Geishas visit the the Vatican and they bring a bit of leather play. The opening reception for his exhibit is 5:30-7:30 p.m. on Saturday, rain or shine.

Thursday, March 13 BYOB Art History You know what your college electives were missing? Alcohol. Just imagine if you were sitting in Astronomy 101 with a tallboy or Skinnygirl margarita in hand. It would've been infinitely more interesting. Kettle Art Gallery knows this and wants to redeem your college experience. Starting tonight the Deep Ellum spot is hosting a series of monthly "classes" to which you're encouraged to bring notepads, original thought and beer. BYOB Art History takes place at 7 p.m. Thursday.
