It’s exactly the kind of smart but objective look at the project that people need, in the midst of all this polemicizing, some of which I am responsible for (which is to say, guilty of). Great reporting, great writing and some truly brilliant editing combine to make this a must-read for people on all sides, no sides, in the middle and upside-down about it.

For example, don’t miss the graphic showing the comparative sizes and shapes of the proposed lakes with White Rock and Bachman. Man! Talk about being worth a million words. Everybody should go look at this. It can’t help but help. Later, I’ll tell you why you should not only ignore half of it but rip it out, throw it down, jump up and down on it, douse it in gasoline and set it on fire. I try to help too. --Jim Schutze
