We hear ya, kids, and next year, the only three bands allowed to be nominated for Dallas Observer Music Awards are Faux Fox, Record Hop and Nouns Group. (Speaking of the latter, "All My Daughters Are Named After Wars" is both the second-best song title in the world and the third-best local song of the last 21 months). We so totally get it.

But till then there's tomorrow night -- the Dallas Observer Music Awards showcase on Lower Greenville Avenue! Starts at 6 p.m.; lasts till someone pisses in Avi Adelman's bushes! You know the drill, right? Five bucks, a half dozen clubs, a few dozen bands -- hell of a deal, if we do say so our damned selves. Wristbands will be available at the venues, which are listed along with the bands' showtimes after the jump. Then, on Tuesday night, there's the Dallas Observer Music Awards ceremony at the Granada -- featuring the Reunion Tower Revue and Very Very Very Special Guest Bobby Patterson, who does not like to be disturbed while he is making love to his baby. Get yer tix tomorrow night or at Unfair Park HQ Monday and Tuesday. Oh, and did I mention Top Chef Casey Thompson is presenting a few awards? No? Well, now I did. --Robert Wilonsky
