This just in from John Blake and Major League Baseball: Yet again, Nolan Ryan will toss out the first pitch at the Ballpark in Arlington for a post-season game, when, tomorrow evening, he takes the mound for Game Three of the World Series. (And, no, apparently he's unavailable to work...

This just in from John Blake and Major League Baseball: Yet again, Nolan Ryan will toss out the first pitch at the Ballpark in Arlington for a post-season game, when, tomorrow evening, he takes the mound for Game Three of the World Series. (And, no, apparently he's unavailable to work a few innings as relief, which is a damned shame.) On Halloween, when it may well be do or die for Your Texas Rangers, two of the X-Presidents will take the mound: George H.W. Bush and his boy Dubya. Which completely screws up my costume now.
