No better way for a 21-year-old to spend America's birthday than on a boat. So yesterday in Grapevine, 60 people shoved off onto Grapevine Lake for a day of floating and partying.
They made their way back around 4 p.m., pulled into the dock and disembarked, but there was a problem: There were only 59 people.
The missing boater has not been identified by police, other than being a 21-year-old man. It's also unknown whether he fell off the boat or went for a swim and never returned.
The Grapevine Fire Department searched throughout the afternoon, stopping only when night fell. They'll search again this morning.
