Honest to God, we have no idea what's going to happen at Glenn Beck's upcoming three-day-long "Restoring Love" rally at Cowboys Stadium. None whatsoever.
When Robert Wilonsky first tipped you to the event back in December, he mentioned, per the promo materials, that there would be "music, speakers and fireworks." Fine. We just saw some pretty good fireworks last week, but we're always up for more explosions.
But that's a little vague, yes? Apparently other people had questions too, because now Glenn Beck himself has appeared in the new promo you see above, getting into some real esoteric shit.
"I think I'm looking forward to feeling what I felt in Jerusalem and what we felt in Washington, D.C.," he says. "If you were in Washington, D.C., or Jerusalem, you 'd know what I'm talking about. There was just this sense of togetherness and goodness and peace. Just everything that we long for was felt on that day. It's something I'll never, ever forget. Nor will anybody who was there. It's going to happen again, in a way."
Beck is of course referring to his "Restoring Courage" and "Restoring Honor" rallies, which turned out a few thousand people apiece to feel Glenn Beck's feelings with him.
"The event itself at Dallas Cowboys stadium is -- we're going to unveil something, a piece of history that has never ever been seen before," he continues to not explain. "Most people don't even know it exists. When you see it, it will explain, I think, who we are as a nation."
Well, hot damn. That solves it. Glenn Beck's obviously planning on staging a viewing of Nicolas Cage's classic documentary National Treasure. Sign us up. Tickets are 10 bucks, or $150 with an autographed book, or between $1,000 and $5,000 for VIPs. Save us an "Occupy Love" T-shirt, would you?
