As we mentioned last week, the Tea Parties are here, the Tea Parties are here! So those not prepared to protest with the likes of Mark Davis, "Dave-from-London" and "Lance Hurley as Patrick Henry" at the Dallas tea'd-off affair had best steer clear of City Hall starting at 4:30 p.m. And for those in need of a complete list of area wingdings, look no further than this round-up of Texas Tea Parties -- several of which Governor Rick Perry's planning on attending, including, just maybe, gatherings at Fort Worth's LaGrave Field and Arlington's River Legacy Park.

If you haven't seen it, last week Governor Hairspray posted to YouTube a video in which he voices his staunch support for the tea parties: "It's a day to get together with fellow patriots all across the state of Texas, send a message to Washington, D.C., let 'em know what you think about the bailouts, all this stimulus, all this runaway spending." Not gonna lie, though: The San Antonio Tea Party sounds the most interesting -- Glenn Beck and Ted Nugent? Got you in a stranglehold, baby, you best get outta the way.
