At about this time each year, Mattel rolls out a new collection of University Barbies®, who are invariably clad in pom poms and cheerleading outfits, the logo of their favorite educational institution emblazoned across their perky plastic chests.

This year, the toy maker threw the Barbie-collecting community a curve ball. Rather than a homogeneous lineup of Barbies, they threw in a couple of Ken dolls as Aggie yell leaders. Here's the description from BarbieCollector.com:

Rally round, Aggies! Ken® doll joins the Texas A&M cheer squad in a white jumpsuit and red athletic shoes with articulated arms ready to basket toss or build a pyramid. "We're gonna beat you all to Chigaroogarem, rough, tough, real stuff, Texas A&M!"

That pretty much sums it up. All that's left to say is that the Longhorns can go ahead and declare permanent victory in their century-plus-old rivalry. And that we're really disappointed that neither of them is Rick Perry.
