Revolver Taco Lounge, the beloved Fort Worth taqueria with a long-awaited Deep Ellum location in the works, announced today that the taco spot is moving its original location at 2822 W. 7th St. to a new space at 2418 Forest Park Blvd., the former home of Sera Dining and Wine.

"We have to leave because our lease expires in the next few months and the landlord wants to redevelop the area," owner Regino Rojas says. "Plus this area did great for Revolver, but at this point, the parking situation and the arrogance of developers in the area make it almost impossible to do happy business."

Rojas says he's hoping to be up and running in the new, bigger space in August or September. He's a bit sad to leave Revolver's first home, he says, but the new Revolver "will be a positive result of all my fuck ups," he says. "Plus this new space is way bigger. I will have some more room to make my breakfast taco buffet bigger and better."

Along with a bigger breakfast buffet, the new location will have a larger bar area with "a ceviche, oyster and crudo bar," Rojas says. "And finally — lots of pinchi parking"

Revolver's Deep Ellum location is still in the works — Rojas is "just waiting for the city to release building permits," he says, and is hoping to have that location up and running this fall.
