Leading up to September's Best of Dallas® 2016 issue, we're sharing (in no particular order) our 100 Favorite Dishes, the Dallas entrées, appetizers and desserts that really stuck with us this year.

Snacks are underrated. Sometimes an entire meal just isn't necessary — which is where Urban Taco's crab tostadas come in.

As tostadas go, these fellas are tiny — three bite-sized chips piled high with fresh lump crab, smokey morita sauce, roasted corn, capers and pickled veggies. At $12, it's not the cheapest snack around, but it is delicious. The buttery fresh crab, the bite of pickled capers, the warmth of the roasted corn, all of it mixes together to create the perfect little bite — and it is, indeed, a little bite. Sometimes that's all you need.

If you feel like mixing it up, try three different tostadas at once (choose from barbacoa, tuna, chicken tinga and a vegetarian option) for $14.
