No sci-fi franchise has a bigger fanbase than Doctor Who. Who-vians are a huge presence spanning multiple generations, and they pack out conventions on every continent. If time travel was actually a thing and showing advanced technology to previous generations wouldn’t radically transform the space-time continuum, Doctor Who would have fans in every major era of human history. Fortunately, you don’t have to go to another continent or point in time to express your love for the British sci-fi series and converse with your fellow Who-vians. You can do it right here and now at WhoFest 3 from Friday to Sunday at the Westin Dallas/Fort Worth Airport Hotel, located at 4545 W. John Carpenter Freeway in Irving. The three-day celebration will feature guests who should be household names to true fans of the Time Lord, such as Eve Myles, Frazer Hines and Wendy Padbury. The convention will also feature panels, a charity auction and a costume contest. Day passes are $30 for Friday and Sunday and $40 for Saturday. Weekend passes are $70. Kids’ tickets are discounted.
