From the founders of Urban Rio and Urban Crust, Urban Seafood Company offers a high-end seafood restaurant in downtown Plano. Executive chef Salvatore Gisellu grew up in Sardinia, an island off the coast of Italy where seafood was a staple on his childhood kitchen table. After beginning his culinary career in Italy in 1987, he moved the U.S. where he worked at Arcodoro & Pomodoro and Daddy Jack's Grill before joining the Urban Family Restaurant Group. Many of the menu items at Urban Seafood Co. represent the flavors and dishes he grew up with. For a taste of everything, try the cioppino, which comes loaded with clams, mussels, fish and shrimp steeped in a flavorful tomato broth.
