The arty pizzeria with an arty name now has more than the vote-getter calzone and pizza with more toppings than roads leading to Rome. The Masterpiece (pepperoni, sausage, beef, mushrooms, black olives, green bell peppers and sliced tomato, with jalapeño on request) remains the prevailing pie able to feed a legion of cubist art fans, but it?s now joined by the Maui Invitational (sweet and spicy barbecue sauce, ham, bacon, Maui onion, tomatoes, pineapple, mozzarella, cheddar and provolone). Both can be ordered large enough to fill a booth table, and perhaps adhere you to a leather banquette under the track lighting. You could go for the decidedly plebian Margherita or venture into the hinterlands with the Thai steak, avocado and mango salad. Surround all that with a sports bar feel with its attendant TV screens focused on soccer, baseball, football and the like, and it?s no wonder the place feels like Picasso might have designed it?or at least eaten there.
