All Things Ridglea Appear On The Brink Of Closing Out In Fort Worth...

As currently stands, there's shows booked out until October 7 at Fort Worth's long-running Ridglea Theater--but that all could change real soon. Our friends at the FW Weekly report this morning that, in the near future, the venue could be sold off--and turned into a bank. Turns out that's one of a few items up for discussion at a City Council meeting today at Fort Worth City Hall--in, oh, just under at hour now, starting at 1 p.m. If the venue closes, it'll be Fort Worth's second lost venue in as many months.

In somewhat related news, the similarly named music store Ridglea Music is definitely on the brink of it's final days, the FW Weekly also reports. The store, which has sold gear and music lessons since 1955, is set to close its doors for good on Wednesday, June 30.
