Every year at SXSW, our parent company, Village Voice Media, hosts a day-party concert filled with enticing national names. This year will be no different, I'm told, although the lineup card for this year's show hasn't yet been announced. We'll let you know as soon as it is.
That said, we do have something else of an announcement to make: At this year's SXSW festival, we here at the Observer have been asked to host an official, night-time, sanctioned showcase of DFWd talents. The showcase will be held on Saturday, March 21, at Habana Bar (708 E. 6th St.).
Check the complete--and quite varied--lineup after the jump.

(For what it's worth, I'm also told that we're St. Vincent's official SXSW sponsor, although, to be honest, at this point, I'm not a hundred percent sure what that means.)
