Death From Above 1979

Call me a cheap bastard, but I usually have no qualms about illegally padding my music collection by downloading MP3s. Still, I’m not made of stone. When a ragingly good band finds its way into my hard drive, my guilt catches up, and my wallet comes flying out of my pants. Such guilt is even easier to mend when the band in question comes through Dallas, and that means my latest download fave, Death From Above 1979, will get my cash in person on Thursday night. These guys pound out dirty, bass-heavy dance-thrash that trounces both !!! and The Misfits in their respective strengths, and by making you either dance your ass off or bang your head into whiplash, they’ll surely earn your cash, too.
