Mike Snider's got a nice little treat for music fans this evening at AllGood Cafe: A night with Jon Dee Graham, the Austin music legend who has played with just about every musician in Texas, was once a member of the True Believers with Alejandro Escovedo and was named the Musician of the Year  at SXSW's 2006 conference.

Giveaway: A Pair Of Tickets To See Jon Dee Graham At AllGood Cafe Tonight

More recently, Graham can be spotted most Wednesday nights as the resident musician who plays just before James McMurtry's slot at the Continental Club. Which, of course, makes his playing tonight at AllGood all the more fitting.

"I'm the Continental Club North, if you haven't noticed," said Snider, a long time advocate of making Dallas more like Austin, between laughs on a recent phone call.

Last time Graham stopped by AllGood, it was quite the show: Really, it played out more like Storytellers: Jon Dee Graham, as the salty musician preceded each down-home track with its often hilarious or charming backstory.

So it's pretty cool, then, that Snider hit us up looking to see if any DC9 readers wanted free admission into the gig. We figured you would--so, if you do, hit me up with an email, and put "True Believer" in the subject line. The first person to do so wins a pair of tickets. Good luck! --Pete Freedman
