More recently, Graham can be spotted most Wednesday nights as the resident musician who plays just before James McMurtry's slot at the Continental Club. Which, of course, makes his playing tonight at AllGood all the more fitting.
"I'm the Continental Club North, if you haven't noticed," said Snider, a long time advocate of making Dallas more like Austin, between laughs on a recent phone call.
Last time Graham stopped by AllGood, it was quite the show: Really, it played out more like Storytellers: Jon Dee Graham, as the salty musician preceded each down-home track with its often hilarious or charming backstory.
So it's pretty cool, then, that Snider hit us up looking to see if any DC9 readers wanted free admission into the gig.
