Old 97's frontman Rhett Miller is back in town--this time to record his upcoming solo record with Blame It On Gravity producer Salim Nourallah. But it's not all work and no play for the singer-songwriter.
Tonight, he takes to the stage at Sons of Hermann Hall for a quick one-off date before heading out on tour late next week. And, better yet, he'll be joined at tonight's show by the great Sarah Jaffe with whom he's shared many a bill in the past twelve months.
Should be a good show--so consider yourself lucky that you stumbled upon this blog post. Why? 'Cause local music scene luminary Mike Snider, who booked the show, is offering one DC9 reader a heck of a deal: A free pair of tickets to go attend the gig. And the first person to email me with "Dance With Me" in the subject line--whether they intended to enter this contest or not--is gonna get the tix. So have at it.
Update: Contest is over. Congrats to our winner.
