Quite the show at Lola's Sixth in Fort Worth tonight with The Appleseed Cast rolling through town. Should be kind of a special show, too: The band performing, in entirety, its seminal releases Low Level Owl 1 and 2, back to back. It's an interesting decision--especially since, as Aaron Ladge explains in this week's paper, the band's last release, Sagarmatha, was a beautiful, minimalistic affair. Even so, there's little doubt: Low Level Owl is where the Lawrence, Kansas, band made its name. So it should be quite the affair.
Which is why we're stoked that our pals at Spune Productions have offered up a pair of tickets for us to pass along to tonight's show. Want 'em? OK: Be the first to email me right now with the words "Johnny Appleseed" in the subject line. Do that, and you're seeing this show for nothing. Good luck!
