River City Extension
may call New Jersey home, but their music is far less Springsteen-influenced, and far more Appalachian in nature. With, OK, a little bit of indie-pop thrown in for good measure. Borne on the back of lead songwriter Joseph Michelini, this sextet's frenetic indie-folk seems as likely to get you feeling wistful as it is to get you rowdy.
If nothing else, that sure makes The Loft's pairing of this touring act with two favorite local openers, The Naptime Shape and Fox & The Bird, a fitting one. All in all, it should be a good time over there at The Loft tonight.
And you can go check out tonight's show for free, too, courtesy of the fin folks over at that venue. Want in? OK: Be among the first five people to email me right now with the words "Right Here In River City!" in the subject line and you and a friend are getting into tonight;'s show for free. Good luck!
Update: Contest is over. Congrats to our winners!
