Giveaway: Two Free Passes To See All Of Parade of Flesh's October Shows

Well, we did this same giveaway last month, and it worked out so well, we're doing it again. Local concert booking agency

Parade of Flesh

has kindly offered up a free ticket to two DC9 readers to go ahead and check out each and every one of the shows that it had booked to come through town until the end of October.

And it's not exactly a shabby list of shows on the docket either: Esben & The Witch, Women, Land of Talk & Suuns, The Blakes, Thrones, The Fresh & Onlys and Royal Baths, Colour Revolt and Small Black are among the touring acts coming through to play the company's nine shows for the remainder of the month. And, in total, it all adds up to about a $100 value. (For the full calendar of shows, click here.)

Keep the Dallas Observer Free... Since we started the Dallas Observer, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Dallas, and we would like to keep it that way. Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism. You can help by participating in our "I Support" membership program, allowing us to keep covering Dallas with no paywalls.
