Austin's Guitar Hero-approved Lions are pretty much guaranteed to melt your face, what with the band's flew-worthy licks and flair for the wicked and evil. Which is why, no doubt, Spune Productions looked to some of the heaviest hitters in the local set to open up the show for the band when it plays the Longhorn Saloon in Fort Worth tomorrow night: Sweetooth, Here Holy Spain and Blood Stained Carpet.

Looking for a more wallet-appropriate means toward your melted face end, though? Ah, dear Devil-worshipers, don't fret: Thanks to Spune, we've got two pairs of tickets to give away to the show--and one pair is yours, assuming you're one of the first two people to email me right now with the words "That Lion Hug Video On Youtube Is For Wusses." So step to it. And good luck!

Keep the Dallas Observer Free... Since we started the Dallas Observer, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Dallas, and we would like to keep it that way. Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism. You can help by participating in our "I Support" membership program, allowing us to keep covering Dallas with no paywalls.
