Eerie (formerly the Microphones) is really just Phil Elverum (formerly Phil Elvrum), but anyone who has heard lo-fi epics like The Glow Pt. 2 knows that “solo act” is an unfair knock, and Elverum can produce considerable intensity and surprises in concert. The odd wonder of Mt. Eerie hardly ever tours through Texas, so consider this Thursday concert a must-see. And don’t be afraid to join in.
