New "Red Dirt" Venue Set To Open On Lower Greenville

Perhaps yesterday, in our announcement about the DOMA Showcase lineup, you saw a venue name with which you were unfamiliar--one called Bandera?

Well, Pegasus News has all the details on the venue's plans to exclusively open this month as a country/"red dirt" venue amongst the other meat market hotspots along Lower Greenville.

You may already be somewhat familiar with the space, though; at last year's DOMA Showcase, the spot, then called Stout, featured some incredible performances from Salim Nourallah and Matthew and the Arrgoant Sea.

Now, the new spot? It's opening back up just in time for DOMA Showcase usage again, fortunately enough for us. In fact, the July 18 showcase takes place on the venue's opening weekend. Which, I'd say, gives area music fans--and us, too--about as good a reason as any to check the spot out firsthand and in person...
