We mentioned a couple weeks ago that Memphis punks Lucero will be performing at the Dallas Observer Music Awards ceremony on Tuesday, November 13. Local comedian Paul Varghese, who opened for Dave Chappelle a few months ago, will emcee the night, and hopefully pack some good "zingers" about the Dallas music scene.

Also on the bill that night: Dallas braintrust the Cannabinoids, backing band for Erykah Badu, who have been busy recording their debut album. Fingers crossed we get to hear some new tracks. The O's and Luna Matto will also perform. Stay tuned for more announcements on that front.
