's a little show announcement you won't see elsewhere (not even in our show announcement post from earlier today): Philadelphia's always buzzing experimental gypsy rock act, Man Man, is coming to The Lounge on April 24, just a day before the band heads to Oklahoma for the Norman Music Festival.
Tickets to the Lounge show will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday via Front Gate Tickets and the local openers for the bill have yet to be announced. But you, dear reader, don't have to wait; you can get a pair right here, right now.
For free, no less! How? Be the first person to email me with the name of the band's well-received 2008 release, "Rabbit Habits", in the subject line, and they're yours.
The tickets come courtesy of local booking agency Parade of Flesh, who just wrote us to pass along the word, offer the free pair and send a warning: "It will be sold out." And that's certainly a possibility.
So get a jump start on the sales and send me that email. Need more inspiration? OK, check out this video POF's John Iskander shot when the band played the Cavern in 2005.
