Greenville native Ben Kweller's come out and set a date for his upcoming release, Changing Horses, which we last heard about in August. Anyway, according to Stereogum, which posts a "Progress Report" item today on the status of the album, the disc will be released during the first week of February.

There's some interesting insight behind the making of the album in the item, too, if you wanna check it out--like how the general theme for the record is "Feeling at home in Texas," basically--but what inspired us to re-mention the item was, well, the fact that you can go ahead and download the pedal steel-heavy first single from the disc for free within it.
