Everyone's talking about Erykah Badu's surprise appearance and performance with My Morning Jacket on Saturday night at the Palladium...

Stereogum writes: "I really thought that the Bonnaroo cover of this one would be MMJ's best one forevermore. But you win, Dallas."

Meanwhile, Chris Cantalini of the locally based Gorilla vs Bear regrets not showing: "...if I would've known that Ms. Badu was going to show up at the Palladium last night to help out on My Morning Jacket's cover of her live fave "Tyrone," I totally would've actually gone."

All fine and good. But the real treat: Mr. Cantalini also has the mp3 of the performance. So, enjoy. --Pete Freedman
