I haven't listened to it yet -- really, who has the time? -- but yesterday on Air America's Sunday-evening show "State of Belief," Rev. Dr. C. Welton Gaddy had as one of his guests Rev. Andrew J. Weaver. Who he? Weaver's a United Methodist pastor, a 1978 graduate of SMU's Perkins School of Theology and the man behind the petition to stop the George W. Bush Library, Think Tank and Dance Club on the Hilltop. (I know -- you're not past the Air America part. But, yeah, it's still around -- and it may have a new investor, go figure.)

So, yeah. Haven't listened yet, though I have a pretty good idea of what Weaver's gonna say. But you listen can by going here, after you register. (Damn you and your registration forms, Air America.) If Weaver's suddenly for the Dubya Instimatute, please do let us know. On second thought, call Jim. --Robert Wilonsky
