Alex Jones, host of Infowars and national guru of conspiracy theorists, recently took up the cudgel for free speech at Dealey Plaza on the 50th anniversary of the JFK assassination. Vowing to bring "tens of thousands" to Dealey Plaza next year, Jones said on today's broadcast he hopes Dallas enjoys "us shovin' the first amendment down their stinkin' throats."

Citing the Observer's coverage of efforts to bar free public access to the assassination site on the 50th, Jones excoriated Dallas City Hall and The Dallas Morning News for trying to "block the riff-raff out" and "block the American scum" from Dealey Plaza next year.

It's quite a listen. I bet when City Hall hears those boots tramping on the cobblestones it'll drown in its own sweat.
