Women's Wear Daily reports in a subscription-only story this morning that Neiman Marcus is looking for someone -- anyone -- to take over the lower level at its NorthPark Center location. In recent months, the downstairs has gone empty: Richard Hayler Colour Salson closed last week after 17 years (the phone message there says he's moved to McKinney Avenue), while the Estée Lauder Spa shuttered in November (despite its still being listed in the NorthPark directory). Says Neimans veep Ginger Reeder, "We are actively looking at all options and entertaining new ideas." A disco, perhaps? "Massage parlor"? Dallas Police substation?
