A Friend of Unfair Park sends along this item from Jalopnik, with the caveat, that, look, it may not be real, but at least it's real interesting. Fair enough. The road-and-tracking blog reports that it received an e-mail from a Dallas cabbie offering his services -- guy by the name of James Taylor, who drives for Cowboy Cab. Notes his note:

I am a Professional Driver, my taxi is always clean and equipped with the latest GPS allowing us to arrive safely and on time . Complimentary Refreshments are always provided and any special request for my clients is never a problem. I am a former United States Marine with security skills.
Jalopnik's Andrew Didorosi writes that, "We didn't know the Dallas taxi game was so difficult that to be a successful driver one must send out press releases for their services." But, perhaps, it's just genius marketing: A woman at Cowboy Cab tells Unfair Park this morning that Taylor's a new driver, and, well, look how much pub he's managed to generate in such a short time.
