Speaking of Main Street Garden ...

DowntownDallas sends word that a new site's just gone live touting the amenities and upcoming events on tap for the site of a former parking garage. Such as: Had no idea the outdoor cafe was called The Lily Pad, and that its menu was being crafted by Chef Doug Brown (Sala, Amuse, the Cliff Cafe). Says the site, The Lily Pad "proudly serves chef prepared sustainable street food using local, organic and natural food products." Also: There's a November 21 concert on the schedule, from 3 to 7 p.m., featuring Thrift Store Cowboys and Jonathan Tyler and the Northern Lights. And: They're working on creating an outdoor movie series. For starters.
