When I was a kid, I attended basketball camp at St. Mark's School of Texas; it was taught by some Dallas Maverick whose name my folks and I can't remember, which means he musta been some kinda great. (Actually, I wanna say it was James Donaldson, but that would have made me, like, 18 or 19 years old, by which time I discovered I liked smoking more than standing in a gym. Mark Aguirre? Nope. Abdul Jeelani? Could be.) Anyway, as further proof that kids today have it slightly better than we did, the Cleveland Cavaliers announced this week that the great LeBron James will host his King's Academy Basketball Camp at the University of North Texas from June 16-20. The camp's open to boys and girls between 8 and 18 and will feature all kinda celeb guests. Abdul Jeelani, anyone? --Robert Wilonsky
