Yeah, yeah -- I know. This is almost a year old, this clip of "Dallas Stadium" (really, the Ballpark in Arlington) being demolished by a "super tornado." But since the Discovery Channel has no intention of re-running its Perfect Disaster series any time soon, and since someone else posted this 105-second clip to YouTube just yesterday, we figured it was a good time to watch it again. Besides, who actually watches the Discovery Channel, besides the dumb-ass bank robber mentioned below? And, hell, this is the first time we've seen it, so that's good enough for us.

Anyway, it's good for a giggle -- especially the scenes set at City Hall, which is apparently populated by wide-eyed, dumbstruck emergency workers. But we do love how the Discovery Channel nails local TV reporters. Listen for the twang-tinged reporter announcing that "the game has stopped" while the ballpark's being shredded into scrap iron and reduced to rubble. Geez, ya think? Still, this does explain why no big-name free agents want to sign with the Rangers, what with the risk of super tornadoes and all. The clip's after the jump. --Robert Wilonsky
