Poker? Officer, I Barely Even...

The Dallas Morning News just got around to writing about the weekend poker-room raids conducted by the Dallas Police Department -- the result of "an investigation and a citizen complaint," as DPD Deputy Chief J.A. Bernal told our old Friend Dan Michalski immediately following the raid on the Audie Murphy VFW. If you go to Dan's site, Pokerati.com, start here and then keep scrolling down, and you can read all about the busts -- as they were happening, more or less. You will also discover that pretty much every underground poker room of note in this city has folded to the cops' all-in. --Robert Wilonsky
