To update those of you riveted to the earlier tale of the man on the roof of the former Parkland Hospital building, a few moments ago a handful of Dallas' finest were spotted slowly, very slowly, trodding the rotten rooftop. They all then ducked back into the building through the sole rooftop doorway, presumably to keep searching in the dark for the guy who may or may not be an accomplice to the copper thief arrested there early this morning. (By the way, copper sells $3.4 a pound, for those interested in why a guy would sleep in pigeon shit in order to pull off a theft of copious amounts of electrical wiring.) This might go on all night. Thrilling? --Robert Wilonsky
